Shea StadiumSadly, the Mets are hosting their final Opening Day at Shea Stadium against the Phillies.  All of the offseason Mets-Phillies hype has gotten me waiting for this series for a long time.  I’m thrilled that it’s finally here.  Below, you will find what the media has to say about the final Opening Day at Shea.

Matt Wise put on 15-Day DL - Jeremy Cothran reported that Matt Wise was placed on the 15-day Disabled List due to a forearm contusion.  The Mets replaced Wise’s roster spot with Carlos Muniz
